Missoni X Converse

I love this new fad of designers collaborating with other brands.  So when I heard that Missoni was going to collaborate with Converse again, I was all for it.  I knew that Nordstrom would be exclusively releasing the shoes first and then later in August Converse would be releasing the collaborated shoes.

The quality is on point for converse standards with some extra cushion in the  sole.  Do you guys remember the Missoni x Target collaborations a few years back?  I thought it was a great idea but the product quality was not on par at all.  It felt cheap and to me was not worth the money.  These are definitely worth the extra $50 bucks.

There were  a few styles that were offered including high tops and low tops.  The prints were all different.  I decided to do a classic bright multi colored low top print because it was more my style.  I like how there are various colors and that it was recognizable as a Missoni print.  I really liked the glitter print on one of the high tops that were offered but I knew I would not rock those as much.  So I played it safe and picked up low tops.

These shoes do run big per the website suggestion when ordering.  I did not order down a size just because I bought them for work.  For work, I prefer to have extra space in the toe.  So I went with my normal size and there is some room.  They do fit wide versus my other white low top pair of traditional converse.  I really do appreciate that with having a wider foot.

As soon as I got them in the mail, I just wanted to pair them with something basic and easy.  I decided to wear a basic crew neck tee and some light denim shorts.  I added a baseball cap that represents my city and has a cute army print.  And just like that, I was out the door rocking these shoes.  They are definitely comfortable and still in style.  I believe they are still available in many sizes so grab some!  And if your size is sold out, call your local converse store to see the re-release date on these and grab yourself a pair.
